On Thursday September 28th we gathered for an assembly to remember Terry Fox. Then students and staff ran and/or walked to get a small experience of Terry’s Marathon of Hope.
On Friday September 29th we celebrated Orange Shirt Day. Teachers worked with their individual classes and did an activity related to Every Child Matters. Many classes learned about how children were treated at Residential Schools.
Also on Friday September 29th we had the privilege of watching a performance called “Not So Dumb”. There were many themes in this play including friendship, respect and everyone has value.
